The Thailand is the place to go if you holidays animated. Has some of the most visually stunning beaches in Southeast Asia and a focus on nightlife. While it also comes with quieter beaches, more relaxed, most tourists head to Thailand are here for tinnitus.
A feast in Pattaya
At the same time a little more despicable, Pattaya is the oldest beach party in Thailand. It is a couple of hours south of Bangkok by motorway and has more hotels and bars per capita than anywhere else in Thailand. The real Pattaya Beach is not as nice as beaches beach resorts in other prominent still is busy and the main focal point per day.
At night, Pattaya really comes into its own. If you're into drinking, eating and women of the night, this is the place to come. Prices here are invariably cheaper than in other popular beach resorts and there are literally hundreds of bars to choose from default hole-in-the-wall tanks, expat pubs, go gos and everything outside discos.
The most lively is Walking Street in the South end of the beach. Is free of traffic at nighttime bars and wall to wall and girls. Although it has a reputation for being a bit unruly, Pattaya bars are patrolled by volunteer and tourist police.
Relax in Phuket
Second most favorite party beach of Patong, Thailand is located way down in southwestern Thailand on the West side of Phuket. The beach and the atmosphere in Phuket are definitive one-up one of Pattaya, but prices of accommodation, food, beer, and women are more pronounced. Phuket completely recovered from the devastation caused by the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004.
Patong Beach is much tidier than Pattaya Beach, plus has some surfing and an avenue much prettier. Soi Bangla, just behind the beach, is the main drinking area. It is literally steps from the sand and has all kinds of bar you could imagine. Go to the South side of the street to the cheapest, least yer-face action bars and North heavier.
The gay area of Patong is located on second street parallel to the beach in the midst of the paradise complex. Although almost anything goes in Patong, it is generally much less despicable Pattaya, plus there are quality beaches to the North and South. Furthermore, unlike Pattaya, Phuket has its own international airport with flights in Europe and throughout Southeast Asia.
Rising in Samui
Third most happening beach of Thailand is Chaweng Beach on the island of Koh Samui. It is situated in the Gulf of Thailand and also comes with an airport, although flights here are much more expensive than getting to Phuket as an airline, Bangkok Airways, has an airport and has a monopoly.
Chaweng Beach is situated on the East coast of Samui, as is most commonly known. Is the longest beach of the island and has the best spread of accommodation. Prices here are generally higher in Patong and Pattaya, although the beach is more enjoyable and a little more unique. Everything is low and restaurants open out onto the beach at night, while right behind the beach is a sequence of bars of pumping.
Full moon fever in Phangnan
Another animated beach is the hat Rin Phangnan Island, North of Samui. He gets mad one night of the year, during the legendary full moon party. Backpackers come from afar to drink and treat yourself at the beach here, while for the rest of the month continues to be much quieter. Phangnan is a bit of a pain to get to that it does not have an airport. It is accessed by ferry from Samui.
